Marketing Plan Summary

First and foremost, if we as a group are serious about being writers—taking the time to meet regularly, and create a book of short stories to sell—then it is time to take our marketing strategy seriously as well.  Having been asked to collaborate and lead the Word Addicts marketing strategy, Jenna and Cortney are ready to get going. Having an online presence, or more specifically, a powerful online presence, will dictate your success as a self-publishing author. With that being said, Cortney and Jenna have forged an action plan for the group starting with: ● A professional, catchy name for our writer’s group. (Word Addicts) ● Creating (and managing) social media pages for our group ● Establishing an inviting and helpful blog (with scheduled posts) ● Individual accounts for us as writers—to drive traffic and sales to our blog When discussing the target audience for our 2020 book of short stories, it was decided that instead of advertising the book as a whole, it would be in the g

Our next compilation.   What will we call the book? Next deadline. Complete rough draft due: March meeting Cover ideas:  Everyone take 5 minutes to look up "Literary fiction books 2020" and scroll through the book covers. What sort of fonts do they use? What is in the cover art? Are the covers made from photographs? What colors are most common? Least common? Etc... Marketing:  Jenna and Cortney  Presented marketing plan.  Each person must have social media.  Each person must participate in the blog. We will all market our own stories in the book.
